In South Carolina, Beth and her friends always had a quote book with them where they would write down anything and everything that was funny or had meaning. Well, since they are not all together anymore, we are going to create a virtual quote book. Check in weekly to see all the funny quotes Beth (and Will) collect over the week.
Let me (Beth) explain about “Who Iya Mike?”…in SC, Anna and I attended our dear friend, Taiter’s mother’s 50th birthday and amongst the sea of “older” people, we went to get some food. Anna got cornered by one of said older folk and he asked “Who’s your friend? (talking about me) I’m about to go put the mike on her.” Trying not to laugh in the man’s face, Anna politely excused herself and came to me and retold the fable of what this man had said. Puzzled, I was like, “What?” She said, “No, the question is – Who iya Mike?” Moral of the story, the word this gentleman meant to say was “mac”…not “mike”….
